Let’s discover today the Norwegian artist Erlend Eidhamar. We fell in love with his music thanks to the splendid “Light”. An extraordinary ballad that will take you out of space, into peaceful landscapes and reassuring voices.

Erlend Eidhamar’s discography unveil musical jewels and we recommend you to discover it right now:

Lets’ discover Erlend Eidhamar in 5 questions:

Tell us who you are and how you started to do music?

I’m Erlend Eidhamar, son of a preacher man, hustler and trader. I love bitcoin, breathing and music. I was forced to do piano lessons as a kid and I hated it. I always wanted to be a rockstar for as long as I can remember, but I hated practicing. So when my friends asked me to sing in their metal band when I was 14 it was the perfect opportunity. I knew I sucked, but I also knew that I wanted it, so I didn’t care. Now I’m really good at singing, and I practice the guitar with much enjoyment.

What inspires you to write music?

Life inspires me to write music. Whenever something out of the ordinary happens I need to transform it through song. Usually when I feel extreme emotions – usually when they’re positive (gratefulness, awe, etc) it comes out in English, when I’m sad or angry it usually comes out in Norwegian.

What is your creative process?

It used to be drugs. I had a rule that whenever I would get high I would write. So, having been a stoner for 10 years – I recently quit – I’ve written hundreds of songs, most of them really bad, but time on matters is all that matters to become good at something. So now the tools are sharp for when life happens. Because now the songs just come when life hands me extreme situations, like when my best friend died 3 years ago.

Can you tell us more about your latest release?

My latest release is called YHWH – I Know Who I Am. YHWH is the Hebrew word for God in the bible and it translates as “I Am That I Am”, so it can be argued that God in the bible is in fact consciousness. The all-pervading consciousness we in fact all truly are. I want to cleanse the world of misperceptions surrounding religion. Having a father who was first a Christian priest, and then became a scholar of all religions I have since an early age been exposed to every religion, and I’ve focused on the commonalities and not the differences.

What do you plan for the future?

My plans for the future are bright!! Bitcoin is crushing it and I have a lot of music recorded ready to be released. Buy light money! BITCOIN 🙂
